EMILY VERMEER Teacher Emily has loved dancing ever since her first class at 4 years old and has always found it as a way to express herself whilst having fun, learning teamwork, resilience and so many other amazing life qualities. Emily has completed exams through the ATOD system of training in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and contemporary as well as Speech and Drama through EDTA. Emily Loves working with Children and watching them grow and achieve milestones and is currently studying Primary Education at ACU. Jaimi has an Advanced Diploma Of Arts, Musical Theatre and Commercial Dance through the Australian Dance Performance Institute whilst also maintaining the role of Dance Captain during her studies , and has also completed her exams in Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary and Hip Hop through the ATOD Syllabus. Jaimi worked for Village Roadshow Theme Parks for 6 Years as a Dancer, Host, Actor and Character Suit Performer, as well as a stilt walker for Australian Outback Spectacular. Jaimi has featured in multiple T.V commercials and promotional material for the Major Australian Theme Parks. Jaimi successfully auditioned for Norwegian Cruise Lines and also participated in Ricky Martins promotional tour video and numerous corporate events through multiple talent agencies. After performing for many years Jaimi knew that teaching was her true passion and found her way back to the studio where she believes that she can share her knowledge and experience with upcoming dancers and performers. “I’ve always loved teaching especially the littlest of dancers but after recently becoming a mum myself I found a new appreciation as well as a new understanding with how their little minds work and how nerve wracking it can be for parents.
